Exploring the World

In this project of ours, Oğuz and I decided to have an adventure in Japan. Our work includes landmarks, places, an old museum, and a festival in Japan. Japan is an Asian country, so it's a different experience to see their culture and it is also a country that I want to visit for a long time. Our project aims to teach lots of things about Japanese culture and places in Japan to students. QR codes are used so that those pages can be used in a brochure as well.

Augmented reality is something that can be used in classes. It is quite helpful not only for exploring other countries like our project, but also for other courses such as History, Geology, Biology, etc. It makes learning even more fun. In this way, every student gets to view everywhere around the world as well as other items and materials. In the future, it could be used more often.

It was hard to find 3D materials as they are not very common, but in the end, we are satisfied with our work.

The project was made in Canva and the 3D models are from Sketchfab.

 Hey everyone! This is my first and probably the last work at this site. Writing a blog has never been my thing. The reason may be the fact that I have nothing interesting to serve, nevertheless, I'll give it a try and do my best about it. 13th of March, 2001 was the day I was born in. Creating A Poster

 We all must have thought making our own movie, magazine, book or something like that. Imagine you're making it true. I can't say I always wanted to make something like that but creating a poster for a magazine is really entertaining. Although I designed mine via an online site, Canva, deciding what kind of poster it'll be is fun. I chose a simple topic for that. I thought making something like a science magazine would be a great idea, so I tried to make something about animals. It would be a science magazine focusing on the world of animals. There are animal rights and most people do not know about them. My magazine may cause an awareness, that's a reason for making it as well. As for this method of teaching, I want to say that anything that is both entertaining an informative must be a method of teaching. Everyone wants to learn something, but the obstacle is learning that in a boring way. Making posters about anything that people like might make a great difference. I

Flipped Vocabulary Teaching Video

My friend Oğuz Öksüz and I decided to teach about occupations in this project and we used Canva's templates to make a suitable video on it (Also, we used Canva to design a work sheet). I really liked the idea and think it would be fairly beneficial to students from all grades. We included music, recordings of us reading the sentences out loud, and pictures. In this way, all kinds of learners can acquire the information with ease. We also had problems, for instance, voice recordings as expected. Since we are unable to achieve professional items, recording may have poor quality. But in the end, we could make it better and we managed to combine all the pieces and finished our work.  We shared the works required for this project and gave our thoughts on the subject to one another.
